LGS-3 (for "Local Group Suspected"), also called the Pisces Dwarf, is one of the dwarf irregular members of the Local Group. and probably a satellite galaxy of M33, the Triangulum Galaxy.

Found on photographic plates taken by Kowal, Lo and Sargent of the Hale Observatories with the 1.2-meter Palomar Schmidt telescope in October 1978 of the field around the Andromeda Galaxy, M31 (Kowal et.al. (1978)), it was first listed in the catalog of Local Group Suspected galaxies, and confirmed by Thuan and Martin (1979).

The image in this page was obtained by Deidre A. Hunter of Lowell Observatory. It is an UBV image, with blue representing the U-band (UV), green representing the B-band (blue), and red assigned to the V-band (visible light). It was taken from D.A. Hunter's UBV colection.
