Abell 35
One of the most bizarre looking nebulae in the sky, this nebula has a very
unusal "bow shock" appearance due to the motion of the nebula and central
star drifting through the gas between stars.
Shape: Very large and diffuse, but has a strange bow shock.
Distance: approximately 400 light years
Location: Hydra constellation
RA: 12 53 32.79 DEC: -22 52 22.6
Size: extends more than 10' in diameter (1 light year)
Abundances/Description: low surface brightness
