Camelopardalis A is a dwarf irregular galaxy situated close to, and possibly related to NGC 1560. Both galaxies are lying in the approximate direction of the Maffei 1 and the M81 groups of galaxies, so their role in past dynamics of these and the Local Group of galaxies might be interesting.
