Alexander Jäger, an amateur astronomer from the University of Constance, made this color image of Comet Hyakutake C/1996B2 and some clouds on March 25, 1996, at 23:53 CET (22:53 UT) at Zell u.A., Baden-Württemberg (South Germany).

This image was obtained with a 50 mm f/1.4 (2) photo lens, and exposed 1 1/2 minutes on Kodak Ektachrome Panther 1600X film, with unguided camera.
