Classified as globular cluster candidate by Froebrich, Scholz and Raftery in
2006.
This cluster was discovered by
Bica et.al. (2003).
Froebrich et.al. (2007) have included it
in their list of nine new globular cluster candidates on the grounds of
investigations of 2MASS IR records.
