Globular cluster NGC 4372 was discovered by James Dunlop on April 30, 1826, and cataloged as Dunlop 67.

The image in this page was contributed by Michael Purcell. It wasa obtained at Grove Creek Observatory on March 30, 2000 at 21:46 local time with GCO's C-14 (f/7) and ST-7E CCD camera, exposed for 10 minutes.
