Alfredo Zanazzo's Tri-Schiefspiegler


These planetary images literally blew me away when I first saw them. They were taken at the prime focus on an HX516 CCD from Starlight Xpress. Seeing was only moderate for the Jupiter image. Note how dark the shadow of Io is. Note also what appears to be a hint of Encke's division in Saturn's A ring.
