Image of the Horsehead Nebula Region by Michael Weiland. This region includes the Horsehead Dark Nebula Barnard 33, superimposed over moderately bright diffuse IC 343, as well as NGC 2024 (Orion B, somtimes called the Flame Nebula) near Zeta Orionis, and some smaller diffuse and dark nebulae such as bright NGC 2023, all part of the giant Orion Cloud.
